Return & Exchange

All return and exchange require an original receipt or packing slip.

Unopened item(s), with an original receipt or packing slip, returned within 7 DAYS of its original purchase date (or delivery date for mail-to order) may receive a exchange or refund less re-stocking fee*, return shipping fee**, and original shipping fee*** to the original method of payment or a credit. All returned item(s) must be in original, new condition, with the original packaging, manuals, and accessories. Shipping & handling fees are not refundable.

Defective item(s) may be exchanged for the same item(s) within 30 DAYS of its original purchase date (or delivery date for mail-to order).

Items that are opened, damaged, and/or not in resalable condition may be subjected to a re-stocking fee* or may not be eligible for a refund, credit or exchange upon our inspection. Build-it-yourself robotkits are not refundable once assembled. Robot parts requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way.

We reserve the right to reject any return or exchange at our discretion. Please allow up to 14 business days to process your request once we have received the returned items.

In all situation except for shipping error, you are responsible for the cost of shipping, the risk of loss or damage of the product during transit to our facility. The return shipping from our facility back to you is free within Canada if the return is deemed to be a manufacturer defect.

To initiate a return or exchange, you can submit a return or visit us during our store hours. Keep in mind in-person return may still take up to 14 business days to process your request depending on the complexity of the return.

No returns will be accepted without first obtaining RMA details and a RMA number.

If you do not receive a RMA response within 7 days, please contact us through our general inquiry e-mail.

 

*Re-Stocking Fee

Re-stocking fee may apply if:

  • you returned items not listed on our catalog; or
  • you returned items marked as “Special Order” in the stock status; or
  • you returned items that have any packaging, manuals, accessories, blank warranty cards or other items missing, or has been subjected to abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect or unauthorized repair or installation, as determined solely by us after our inspection; or
  • the total of all returned items from an order is over $500 CAD.

Minimum re-stocking fee is 25% of the item’s price.

**Return Shipping Fee

You are reponsible for the return shipping fee if:

  • the return is not due to a manufacturer defect or shipping error; or
  • you selected pick-up as the shipping method for your order and wish to return or exchange your order by courier

If you are using your own shipping method, return shipping fee will not apply.

***Original Shipping Fee

In the event that shipping is included with the original order, an original shipping fee may apply to cover the original shipping cost if a full or partial return of an order reduced the total of said order before applicable tax to an amount below the total required for our free shipping offer.
